The rules for using Ventcare as a client or as a provider.
About these terms
By creating an account or booking a session you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. They are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Ventcare is not an emergency service
If life is in danger call 999. For free crisis support call Kenya Red Cross on 1199, Childline Kenya on 116 or Befrienders Kenya on 0722 178 177.
Our role
Ventcare is a marketplace. Providers are independent professionals or organisations and are responsible for the care they give. We verify providers as described on our Trust & Safety page, but verification is not a guarantee of any treatment outcome.
Bookings and payments
- A session is confirmed only when your M-Pesa payment is verified. Unpaid or failed bookings do not hold the time.
- Prices are set by providers and shown in KES before you pay.
- Ventcare collects payment on the provider's behalf, keeps a platform commission and settles the provider.
- Cancellation and refund rules are shown on each provider's profile before you book.
Your account
Keep your login details safe and give accurate information. Under-18s may book only with a parent or guardian's consent. We may suspend accounts used for fraud, abuse or harassment.
Provider terms
- You must hold the qualifications, registration and licence you claim, and keep them current.
- Listings are reviewed before they go live and can be suspended if information is false.
- Providers working with children or teenagers must acknowledge Ventcare's safeguarding policy and have a certificate of good conduct approved before their listing goes live.
- You must keep client information confidential and follow your professional body's code of ethics.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ventcare is not liable for the clinical advice or care given by providers. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
